Praise the Lord

Hey, guys! Yes, it has been a bit since the last blog. I finished up my semester at the beginning of May. Took some time to regroup. I was sweeping the floor tonight, when the Lord told me to write, so here I am.
I have been studying Psalm 107, verse by verse. Maybe you study that way, too. This Psalm is actually regarding Israel, however, we can apply it to our lives as well. Ever been in a season where you wanted it to end, sooner than later. Asking God if He loves you, if He sees you, or if He even cares. I have and I am sure if you are honest, you have been there, as well. One thing I have learned about God is His love is unfailing. He hears the prayers of those who need Him and He saves them. This chapter in the book of Psalms is just a reminder.
I won't cover all the verses, but tonight I will cover verse 1. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." Psalm 107:1 (NIV)
A verse which calls us to praise the Lord, even when we don't feel like. We praise in the valley and on the mountain top.
This verse is also the same as Psalm 106:1; Psalm 118:1, 29; Psalm 136:1 and Jeremiah 33:11.
We praise Him as our Savior, our Redeemer, our Deliverer, and anything else you want Him to be for you.
Maybe you question His love for you. If I can be honest, so have I. But God sent His son to save us. God loves humanity, His creation. His love is always steadfast for us, even when we take detours and go astray.
Lately, He has been telling me to trust Him. It's hard to trust someone you can't see. But every day, I am seeing Him more faithful, more trustworthy and His love for me is present. I'm praying that you let Him guide your path today. I pray He leads you to a place where you find Him trustworthy, full of love for you and faithful.
Praising our Savior,
Veronica
I want to make loving Him the right way priority ...
