The lyrics to "I have decided to follow Jesus" have been ringing LOUDLY in my spirit lately.

"I have decided to follow Jesus; No turning back, no turning back...Though none go with me, I still will follow...My cross I'll carry, till I see Jesus...the World behind me, the cross before me...No turning back, no turning back.

I can't tell you when I first heard this song at First Baptist Church of Shallowater. But the older I get, and as the days become more apparent that this ole World is seeing the last of the last days, the words are penetrating my heart a little deeper. No turning back, no turning back.

So, I ask you the question I have been pondering. Are you going to turn back? In the last days, an increase of persecution of the Church will happen, world events will continue and worsen, and many will turn away from Jesus in these days. (Matthew 24). The turning away is the Christians. When Jesus returns, will He find you faithful and continuing on the road, or will you turn your back on Him?

I hope you will make up your mind to stand and be faithful. No turning back. The road before you may be paved with uncertainty, fear, anxiety and hardships. I pray that you will build your strength and faith to overcome. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7

Make up your mind and heart today, that NO matter what, the words "No turning back" will become an anthem in your life. When Jesus returns, He will find you faithful and your race will be complete. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7

As for me, I have decided to follow Jesus, I have decided to follow Jesus, I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back.
