New Creation

Hope this morning finds you warm and toasty. Do you love the cold and snow, or hate it, wishing for those long summer nights? As I have gotten older, please put me on a mountain with snow! Let's forget the ice, though. Whichever you prefer, I pray God grants your prayer request.
In the above picture, do you notice the pristine snow? Not even a bunny print. Untouched and new. New creation...just like us when we belong to Jesus.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." Second Corinthians 5:17 (ESV).
Simple, isn't it?!? It's the way God intended for the Christian, to become new in Him, chosen, redeemed, forgiven. Yet, sometimes we can't let go of yesterday's mountain with the footprints, the mud, the muck and remnants of better times. The mud and muck may be shame, guilt, bitterness, or maybe just how a God like that could love someone like me. Oh, my dear friend, He loves you. It was the work of the Cross and Jesus who came to take the shame, the guilt, the bitterness, and all of the things of the past. I encourage you today to spend some time with Jesus, talk to Him, because He wants to take the things of the past, and make you whole and new.
While it is difficult, change your outlook. Redemption, salvation and restoration came when you accepted Jesus as your Savior. There are no limitations on Jesus.
My prayer for you today is to discover Jesus. Get to know Him in 2024. Don't let this year pass you by and the shame of the past continue to plague you. May this be the year you become free in Jesus. He's been waiting on you.
Love,
Veronica
Amen. I recieve this🙌
