God is on your side

Hey guys! Hope your day is amazing! I was praying for you tonight. The Lord led me to some verses in Micah. I honestly thought we would pick back up with the Samaritan woman, but God said someone needs these verses. This version of the Bible is from the Message translation.

Don’t, enemy, crow over me. I’m down, but I’m not out. I’m sitting in the dark right now, but God is my light. I can take God’s punishing rage. I deserve it—I sinned. But it’s not forever. He’s on my side and is going to get me out of this. He’ll turn on the lights and show me his ways. I’ll see the whole picture and how right he is. And my enemy will see it, too, and be discredited—yes, disgraced! This enemy who kept taunting, “So where is this God of yours?” I’m going to see it with these, my own eyes— my enemy disgraced, trash in the gutter. Micah 7: 8-10

I'm not sure who this is for tonight, but I know this-God has you. Whatever the enemy has thrown your way, maybe today, last week, last year, or 10 years ago, God has you! Trust me!

Let's grab coffee and sit for a bit.

The enemy has been after you, he's after all of us. He often pushes us down just trying to get us to give up! Your situation may look dark-your health, your finances, your prodigal child or spouse, job, or whatever the situation may be. Sometimes, the enemy brings it, but sometimes we bring it upon ourselves with sin. Darkness comes in, chaos and confusion come. We don't know where to turn or what to do. But God does!! He is the Light in the darkness. When we trust God, He will vindicate us, heal us. The lone fighter in the picture above, it represents Jesus! He fought the battle and won! It was won on the Cross. Whatever the situation, His blood covered it.

Isaiah 9:2 states, "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone." (English Standard Version)

The Great Light is Jesus! He turns on the Light, brings us out of darkness. Oh, my sweet friend, I don't know who you are tonight, but I know you are hurting, I can feel it. God wants you to know that He loves you. You have been asking where are You, God? Honey, He's right there. Call out to Him. He's been waiting on you! Remember last week, you have never wondered so far away from God to escape His love. He will go after you! God is about to shut the mouth of the enemy!

Whoever you are, just know I am praying for you. My heart is burdened for you tonight.
